ZSA Legal Recruitment is looking for a talented Accounting Clerk to join our team immediately. Based out of ZSA’s downtown Toronto office, the successful candidate will assist with preparing daily cash receipts and depositing cheques; preparing invoices for clients; processing vendor bills and employee expense reports; overseeing credit card reconciliation issuing cheque payments; preparing weekly collection reports; preparing GST, HST, and QST filings; processing weekly temporary payrolls, and assisting with month-end and year-end financial statements and documentation.
The successful candidate will have a diploma in accounting or comparable education and have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience. You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high mathematical aptitude, computer skills (including familiarity with Ceridian, Word and Excel), excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational abilities. You should also have the ability to interact easily with people and possess a high degree of initiative and attention to detail. ZSA would ideally prefer a candidate who can start working immediately.
