The trend is towards adding a "transaction sheet" which will work to distinguish you from other candidates with similar practice areas and educational backgrounds. Primary transactions, which are large in scope and value, should be listed. Your role in these transactions should be highlighted.

Conditional Offers

  • Most often offers are made conditional on references. When you have identified the persons who you wish to offer up as referees it is vital that you call them, obtain their permission and find out what they would say about you. Ask them if they are prepared to act as a reference for you, and don't stop there....
