Senior Legal Counsel (Real Estate) | Calgary | 8 – 15 years

We are working with Qualico – one of the largest and most successful privately-owned integrated real estate companies operating in Western Canada and the US – who are now looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to lead the legal function in their Calgary office.

You will be around the 8 to 15 year call range with strong real estate experience, both around commercial real estate transactions, as well as residential conveyancing work.  This is a broad in-house legal role where you will also get involved in construction and project financing, corporate matters, land development, and litigation management.

You will be part of a hybrid legal department, reporting to the General Counsel at Head Office while embedding yourself as a true business partner with regional business units. This is a terrific opportunity to apply your legal operations skills in an entrepreneurial and supportive culture.
