In the spirit of controlled growth, WV LLP is looking to add a senior commercial litigation lawyer, or a small team, to its litigation ranks. The firm is well staffed across the board, from junior lawyers to senior partners. As a result of increased existing client needs and some succession opportunities, the firm would welcome at least one senior commercial litigator who is/are like-minded, hard working and enjoy collaborating with a group of high-performing professionals. Based in Markham, you will enjoy working with many former Bay Street lawyers, in a relaxed, yet highly professional setting. The ideal candidate will possess a partially, or fully portable book, and will appreciate having access to junior support from clerks to associates. In addition to a general commercial litigation practice, bankruptcy and insolvency law experience, while not mandatory, would be preferred.
