In-house lawyer (Construction) | 5-7 years | Edmonton or Vancouver

We’re working with a group of construction companies in Western Canada, part of a multinational parent company, now looking for an in-house legal counsel to support their operations. You’ll be working directly with the leaders of the businesses in Alberta and BC, providing advice on bid processes, negotiating and drafting a range of commercial contracts, and providing legal support on the execution phase of projects, as well as managing external lawyers on any disputes that come up. There’s also a reporting line into the Canadian group GC.

If you have a strong construction / infrastructure legal background and around 5 to 7 years of post-call experience, this is a great opportunity to be the lead lawyer for these businesses across Alberta and BC.
